Man Accused Of Burglarizing Restaurant In North Haven: Police

The man was arrested after a lengthy investigation, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — An East Haven man was arrested Monday in connection with the burglary of a North Haven restaurant nearly a year ago, according to police.

Police said the Formosa Asian Fusion restaurant at 132 Middletown Ave. was burglarized on Aug. 4, 2019. With the assistance of the Connecticut State Forensic Laboratory, North Haven detectives secured an arrest warrant for Edward Carlona, according to officials.

Carlona, 47, of East Haven, was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief.
