Man Arrested In Fraud Case: North Haven Police
The man was arrested in connection with a fraud case that happened more than two years ago in North Haven, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a fraud case that happened more than two years ago in North Haven.
A patrol officer responded to HART Inc. in February 2021 on the report of suspected fraudulent activity, according to police.
Police said the officer followed up with the company's bank, and in coordination with the bank, 48-year-old Scott Sampson of Brooklyn, CT, was identified as a suspect.

Sampson, who is incarcerated on unrelated charges, was arrested March 15 on a warrant. He was charged with third-degree larceny and second-degree forgery.
