Man Burglarized Home In North Haven: Police

The man is also a suspect in multiple residential and commercial burglaries in the area, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of burglarizing a home in North Haven in May, according to police.

Xuanting Yan, 37, was arrested Monday on a warrant in connection with the burglary. He was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny, payment card theft and illegal use of credit cards. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

“Yan has additional warrants from neighboring towns for similar crimes, and is a suspect in multiple residential and commercial burglaries in the area,” North Haven police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Great job by our officers and detectives, as well as area agencies who assisted with this investigation.”
