Man ‘Caused Scene’ At Substance Abuse Clinic: North Haven Police
Police said the man, who was not a patient, was arrested on an active arrest warrant.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Shelton man, who had an active arrest warrant, was arrested after “causing a scene” at a substance use disorder clinic in North Haven, according to police. North Haven Police responded to the clinic on Nov. 23 on the report of an “unwanted person.”
The person left the property before police arrived and was found walking along the side of a nearby road. Police said the person was “not a patient and had caused a scene at the clinic.”
Police found that the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Eric Hunnicutt of Shelton, had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody for failure to respond, according to police. Hunnicutt was taken to Meriden Superior Court on Monday morning.
