Man Charged In Armed Robbery Of CVS: North Haven Police

A man has been charged in connection with the armed robbery of a CVS in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Meriden man has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of a CVS in North Haven earlier this year. The robbery took place at CVS Pharmacy, 162 Washington Ave., on March 31, according to police.

Arriving officers were told a heavy-set man wearing a surgical mask implied he had a gun and demanded money from the store clerk, according to police.

Police said the suspect received a “small amount of cash” and fled in a red or maroon vehicle.

North Haven detectives worked with several towns that experienced similar incidents with matching suspects, according to police. A suspect was identified and found in Meriden.

After an interview, police obtained an arrest warrant for 29-year-old Andre Green of Meriden.

Green, who police said was incarcerated for a different area robbery, was charged July 31 with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny.
