Man Charged In Burglary Of Gas Station In North Haven: Police
The gas station's front door was smashed early Tuesday morning, according to police.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — An East Hampton man has been arrested in connection with the burglary of a gas station in North Haven early Tuesday morning, according to police.
Police responded to Mobil Gas at 88 Quinnipiac Street around 5:45 a.m. on March 21 on the report of a burglary.
The front door was smashed with an object and cigarettes were stolen from inside, police said.

Officers reviewed video from in and around the area and were able to identify a suspect vehicle and descriptions of two suspects, according to police.
Police said detectives spotted the suspect vehicle later Tuesday morning at a pawn shop in New Haven. A person matching the description of one of the suspects was inside the pawn shop, according to police.

The suspect vehicle was seized and towed for processing, and police said the suspect was arrested. A portion of the stolen cigarettes were recovered at a gas station in New Haven, police said.
Daniel Sallen, 39, of East Hampton, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, and larceny.
The investigation is ongoing and police said they are searching for additional suspect(s).
