NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man is accused of slapping a firefighter and spitting toward emergency personnel while they were treating a patient at an apartment complex on Wednesday, according to police.
The incident happened at the Carmen Romano apartments on Sackett Point Road in North Haven, according to police.
Police said Boris Tomachevskiya, 65, slapped a North Haven firefighter and tried to kick them while they were treating a patient. Tomachevskiya also began “spitting toward emergency personnel,” according to police.

Tomachevskiya was arrested and charged with assault on a public safety/EMS officer and second-degree breach of peace.
