Man Stabbed In North Haven: Police

A man was hospitalized after being stabbed Tuesday night in North Haven. Police are still looking for the suspect.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in the leg Tuesday night in North Haven, according to police. A 50-year-old man called 911 around 9:40 p.m. on April 7 to report that he was stabbed, police said.

The man was found at the intersection of Universal Drive and Sackett Point Road with a knife wound to his upper leg, according to police. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers found a crime scene in a wooded area off Sackett Point Road.

A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect but he wasn’t found, police said. The victim told police that the suspect fled east on Sackett Point Road.
