Man Stole $2.6K In Cigarettes From Gas Station: North Haven PD

Police say the man used a piece of concrete to smash his was into the gas station store.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Milford man is accused of stealing more than $2,600 worth of cigarettes from a gas station in North Haven this past summer, according to police. In June 2017, officers located a smashed glass door to the Mobil gas station on Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven.

Police said the investigation revealed a man had used a piece of concrete to force his way into the gas station and took more than $2,600 worth of cigarettes. North Haven Detectives identified the suspect as Vincent Criscuola, 50, of Milford.

Criscuola was arrested April 11 on a warrant and charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on April 26.
