Man Taken Into Custody For 2017 Arrest: North Haven Police

Police say the man failed to appear in court for an arrest in late 2017.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A New York man was taken into custody by North Haven Police Wednesday for failing to appear for a court date for an arrest in late 2017, according to police. Guy Galloway, of Bronx, New York, was arrested Dec. 27, 2017 in North Haven for attempting to obtain a cellphone under false pretense, police said.

Galloway was charged with false statement, forgery, identity theft and larceny. After posting a $10,000 bond he was released. Police said Galloway failed to appear for his court date and was subsequently arrested in New York for unrelated robbery charges.

Galloway was released from a New York correctional facility Wednesday and taken into custody by North Haven detectives. Galloway was taken back to North Haven where he is being held on a $35,000 bond for failure to appear.
