Man Threatened Person With Gun At ATM: North Haven Police
The man was later apprehended in a nearby restaurant's parking lot after a chase, according to police.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man is accused of threatening a person with a gun at an ATM in North Haven on Saturday night, according to police.
Police responded to Bank of America at 35 Washington Avenue around 9:20 p.m. on May 20. A caller told police that a man was standing near the ATM, and had made threatening comments regarding a robbery and having a gun to the person who was going to use the ATM, according to police.
Police said the person who was going to use the ATM left unharmed and contacted police.

Arriving officers found the man standing in front of the ATM. He left as officers approached, and was apprehended in the Bellini’s Restaurant parking lot on Broadway after a foot chase, according to police.
Police said the man, identified as 35-year-old Darius Moody, was found to be in the possession of a .25-caliber handgun.

Moody was arrested on charges of interfering with an investigation, possession of a controlled substance, threatening, and pistol permit violations, including criminal possession of a firearm (convicted felon), according to police. He was held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
