NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Cromwell man is accused of threatening several people with a rifle-like pellet gun in North Haven last month, according to police.

At about 4:50 p.m. on April 24, police said a North Haven patrol officer was waved down by a complainant, who reported a person driving alongside of them on Route 5 was waving a firearm around inside their vehicle.

The complainant told police they heard two "pops" come from the vehicle. The complainant was unable to obtain a license plate, and police said a check of the area was unsuccessful for the vehicle, which was described as a black Kia.
