Man Traded Drugs for Sexual Favors with Minor: North Haven Police
The man, who police also arrested on child pornography charges, is accused of patronizing a prostitute and providing drugs to the minor.

North Haven, CT — A 53-year-old Branford man is accused of paying for and providing drugs to a North Haven minor in exchange for sexual favors over the course of several years, according to North Haven Police.
Police also say the man was found to have several photos and videos depicting child pornography on electric devices at his Branford home.
North Haven Police arrested Paul Gargano, 53, of Branford, on an arrest warrant on July 6 and charged him patronizing a prostitute, risk of injury to a minor and three counts of possession of child pornography.

North Haven detectives revealed Gargano had been paying and providing drugs to a North Haven minor in exchange for sexual favors over the course of several years, according to police.
“In December 2015, North Haven investigators executed a search warrant at Gargano’s Branford residence and seized several cellular phones, computers, and electronic storage devices,” police said in a press release. “In addition to evidence supporting patronizing a prostitute, the analysis of the seized items revealed several photos and videos that meet the definition of child pornography.”

Gargano was released after posting a $100,000 bond.
