Nearly 20 Street Signs Stolen In North Haven: Police

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating the theft of nearly 20 street signs within the past month in North Haven, according to officials.

Police said the department began fielding calls in early October about missing street signs in the area of Bassett Road and Surrey Drive. The signs continued to disappear over the next few weeks, according to police.

Police said the following signs were taken over that time:

Katie Lane Sign @ Mill Road

Clintonville Lane Sign @ Mill Road

Bassett Road Sign @ Clintonville Road

Blakeslee Avenue Sign @ Bassett Road

Orcutt Court Sign @ Bassett Road

Postmans Highway Sign @ Bassett Road

Surrey Drive Sign @ Bassett Road

Sentinel Hill Road Sign @ Surrey Drive

Coach Drive Sign @ Surrey Drive

Carriage Drive Sign @ Surrey Drive

Minuteman Drive Sign @ Carriage Drive

Heritage Hill Road Sign @ Minuteman Drive

Revere Road Sign @ Minuteman Drive

Flintlock Road Sign @ Sentinel Hill Road

Independence Lane Sign @ Sentinel Hill Road

Cannonball Road Sign @ Sentinel Hill Road (Replaced)
