New Superintendent Of Schools Appointed In North Haven

The North Haven Board of Education approved the hiring this week.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Ridge Road Elementary School Principal Patrick Stirk has been unanimously approved by the Board of Education to become the next Superintendent of Schools in North Haven, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Stirk, who has been principal of Ridge Road since 2015, is expected to make $170,000 per year in addition to a benefits package. It will be his first time working as a superintendent.

An interim principal is expected to be appointed at Ridge Road with the board accepting applications for the position in the spring, according to the Register.
