New Tenant Approved for Former Rustic Oak Site
Town Fair Tire's plan to relocate from its current North Haven location was initially met with opposition.

The road has been cleared for Town Fair Tire to relocate from its current Washington Avenue location to the former Rustic Oak restaurant site on Route 5 in North Haven.
The North Haven Planning and Zoning Commission approved Town Fair Tire’s application this week, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The potential relocation was hotly debated over the summer with many people in favor of a new restaurant moving into the site and other residents opposed to the plan out of concern for the historic oak trees located on the property.
