New Use Considered For Popular Wedding Venue In North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — The owners of the Fantasia Wedding and Banquet facility on Washington Avenue (Route 5) in North Haven are considering demolishing the popular venue and turning the property into apartments, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports the North Haven Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing this week on a special permit application that would change the use of the property.

More than 100 residential units would be built on the property with three buildings — including one for businesses and apartments — under the proposal, according to the Record-Journal.
