The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Continuing our current services and enhancing the services that are provided to our community while state and federal funding has declined. The BOE would continue to apply for all Federal and State Grants available to us. As we prepare the budget, look for areas of overlap and possible cost savings without effecting the quality of education and resources to our students
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Corporate Business experience which encompasses negotiating, finances, interviewing and personnel issues
List other issues that define your campaign platform:
Educating the whole child through social and emotional learning
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Collaboration with all stakeholders: students teachers, parents, administrators, community members and fellow BOE members when setting policy.
The best advice ever shared with me was ...
"Whatever the situation use logic and kindness"
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I always listen to others point of view and concerns. I put our students and teachers first.
