Healthcare Consultant - 30-year career in Healthcare Management within the government, academic and private sectors: facilitating data-driven decision making and implementation.

Current - Democratic Town Committee Member and DTC-Endorsed Candidate for Board of Finance;
Previous - Appointed member of the North Haven Athletic Field Usage Policy Ad Hoc Committee to the Board of Education
The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The North Haven voters' limited access to complete and accurate information from our elected officials in order to fully understand town government decision making and be able to cast informed votes.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
If elected, I plan to push for full transparency and uniform disclosure of information to ALL elected members of the Board of Finance (both to the majority party and to the minority party)

I plan to ensure that data-driven decision making replaces uninformed, rubber stamped, Board of Finance votes.

Successful career (30 years) in Healthcare management; Mother of 3 wonderful children raised in North Haven; supportive wife of a Yale Professor; Hospice volunteer; former coach and supporter of youth sports, theater and music programs; Founding Member of the North Haven Team for Education; Member of the Mayflower Society and the Friends of North Haven Library; Member of the Quinnipiac Valley Health District Community Health Coalition; frequent public commentary contributor at North Haven board meetings and town meetings; Recipient of the 2018 North Haven DTC Active Citizenship Award.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I take the responsibility of serving on the North Haven Board of Finance very seriously. I will listen to all shared facts, opinions and suggestions and make data-driven decisions that provide our community with the best products and services at the least cost to the taxpayers.
