What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have been a faculty member in higher education for over 12 years as a teacher and administrator. I have developed course curriculum, policies and procedures, helped maintain major accreditation, acted as a student advisor and developed new academic programs at both private and public universities. Additionally, for over 6 years I have served as a co-chair for a governmental affairs committee where I have assisted the association in drafting, passing and explaining various bills centered around health and safety, such as concussion management.

Help foster and build real world practical skills, financial literacy, and knowledge to help students be self-directed life-long learners. Create an environment of confidence and success for their education, life and careers. Increased physical activity to enhance learning for all students no matter their limitations.
