North Haven Election 2015: The Results Are In
Republican Michael Freda vies for a fourth term against challenger John Bimonte.

While the results came in late, the victory was decided early and incumbent Republican Michael Freda cruised to a fourth term in Tuesday municipal election.
The final results didn’t come in until around 11 p.m. due to an issue at a polling place, but the final tally was 4,544 to 1,030 in favor of Freda, according to the North Haven Citizen.

The Citizen reports that for the rest of the board of selectmen, Tim Doheny outpaced Sally Buemi 3,789 to 1,660 and both will serve on the panel.

Incumbent Republican Michael Freda has won a fourth term as First Selectman with a victory over Democratic challenger John Bimonte, according to the New Haven Register.
In addition to the First Selectman’s race, voters went to the polls to decide several positions including Selectman, Town Clerk/Tax Collector, Town Treasurer, Board of Finance, Board of Education, Board of Assessment Appeals, Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Police Commissioner and Fire Commissioner.
