North Haven Election 2016 Results: Incumbents Roll to Victory
Results for state senate and house races.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Republican incumbent Dave Yaccarino won a fourth term in the 87th State House District with a victory over Democratic challenger Steve Gifford.
Yaccarino won by a vote of 8,852 to 3,273, according to unofficial results from the Secretary of State’s office.
Incumbent Republican Len Fasano ran unopposed and won another term in the 34th State Senate District, which covers Durham, East Haven, North Haven and Wallingford.

In the 11th Senatorial District, Democratic incumbent Martin Looney ran unopposed and won a 13th term.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — North Haven residents will head to the polls on Nov. 8 for the 2016 midterm election. Polling places in North Haven will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the ballot, registered voters in North Haven will be able to select candidates for president and vice president, United States senator, representatives to U.S. Congress, state senator, state representative, and registrar of voters.

In North Haven, Republican incumbent Len Fasano is running unopposed in the 34th State Senate District, which covers Durham, East Haven, North Haven and Wallingford. Fasano, who was elected to the seat in 2003, is currently the Senate Minority Leader and has previously served as a Senate Deputy Minority Leader and Senate Minority Leader Pro Tempore.
In the 11th Senatorial District, 12-term Democratic incumbent Martin Looney is running unopposed.

In the 87th State House District, three-term Republican incumbent Dave Yaccarino is being challenged by Democrat Steve Gifford.
Yaccarino serves as the leading House Republican lawmaker on the legislature’s Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Gifford is a U.S. Army veteran and small business owner.
Democrat Patricia Jackson-Marshall and Republican Laurie Brangi are the candidates for registrar of voters.
The candidates for president and vice president are Republicans Donald Trump and Mike Pence, Democrats Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine, Libertarians Gary Johnson and Bill Weld, and Green Party Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka.
For United States Senate the candidates are Richard Blumenthal, Democrat, Dan Carter, Republican, Richard Lion, Libertarian, and Jeffrey Russell, Green Party.
For United States Congress the choice is between Democratic incumbent Rosa DeLauro and Angel Cadena, a Republican, in the 3rd Congressional District.
