NORTH HAVEN, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in North Haven with plenty of races on the ballot.
Voters will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 7 and cast their ballots for the Board of Selectmen, Board of Education, Board of Finance, Town Clerk/Tax Collector and more.

Do you have a family? If so, please tell us about them.
I am married to Bob, a life long resident of North Haven. We have 4 sons, ages 33, 35, 38, and 40; and 8 grandchildren, ages 3-17; 2 of our sons live in North Haven; 1 lives in North Branford and 1 lives in New Jersey; 4 grandchildren live in CT and 4 live in New Jersey.

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I was asked to go on the Board of Finance when I retired as a Registrar. I've always felt proud to be a part of the North Haven community and look forward to being elected to this board. Any way that I can offer volunteer services to the community has always been a personal goal of mine.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As Vice President of Special Olympics Connecticut I managed half a million plus dollar budgets. I understand what it takes to manage an office and to provide services for the town and how the budget relates to all of that.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Think outside the box and don't be afraid to try something new or to ask for assistance.
