North Haven Football Opens Season With Romp Over Bridgeport Central
Indians surge past Hilltoppers in second half.

On the strength of a second-half surge, the North Haven football team opened the 2014 season in impressive fashion with a 42-6 victory over Bridgeport Central Thursday night at Vanacore Field in North Haven.
The Indians scored 42 unanswered points, including 35 in the second half, to cruise to the victory.
“We were able to wear on them in the second half,” North Haven coach Anthony Sagnella told Mike Madera of the Post-Chronicle / GameTimeCT. “With us, we have to learn that game experience.”

North Haven will travel to Middletown next Friday night (Sept. 19) to take on Xavier at 7 p.m. at Palmer Field.
