North Haven Lifts Ban On Outdoor Evening Activities
The town had suspended outdoor evening activities on town property after mosquitoes in the region tested positive for EEE earlier this month
NORTH HAVEN, CT — The town of North Haven has lifted its ban on evening outdoor activities, officials said on Thursday. The town had suspended outdoor activities as of 6 p.m. due to confirmed cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus (EEE) earlier this month in Connecticut.
“Based on updated information received by the Quinnipiack Valley Health Department, effective immediately, all Board of Education, Town of North Haven and League Sports and Recreational evening outdoor programs and activities on all Town and Board of Education fields and parks will resume,” officials said in a statement.
