North Haven Police Arrest Suspects in Burglary of Automotive Garage
New Haven's Thomas Cherry, 58, and Denise Cordero, 24, were arrested for Aug. 21 burglary, police hold active warrant for a third suspect.

North Haven police have arrested two suspects in connection with the burglary of a Washington Avenue automotive garage on Aug. 21.

On August 21, 2014, a male and female broke into a Washington Avenue automotive garage. The North Haven Police Department released images that were captured by the garage’s video surveillance to the media. Because of the media’s assistance, the pair was identified quickly. Investigators learned that a third person was involved in the burglary leading to three arrest warrants being obtained.

58-year-old Thomas Cherry, and 24-year-old Denise Cordero, both from New Haven, have been arrested by warrant. The two have been charged with Burglary, Larceny, and Criminal Mischief. North Haven Police hold an active arrest warrant for the third individual who is responsible for the break-in.
