North Haven Police Revive Man with Dose of Narcan
Police responded to three non-fatal heroin overdose cases on Thursday.

North Haven, CT — A North Haven police officer administered a life-saving dose of Narcan to a 27-year-old resident experiencing a heroin overdose on Thursday evening, according to police.
It was one of three non-fatal overdose cases emergency crews responded to on Thursday, June 9.
North Haven police and fire personnel responded to a Montowese Avenue residence at about 3:15 p.m. for a report of a 35-year-old North Haven man who was unresponsive.

Upon arrival, officers located two men who were experiencing drug overdoses, police said.
Police said the second man is a 34-year-old East Haven resident and both men were treated by paramedics and transported to an area hospital where they are now in stable condition.

Approximately seven hours after the Montowese Avenue drug overdoses, North Haven police and fire personnel responded to a Samoset Avenue residence where the 27-year-old North Haven man was experiencing a heroin overdose.
After receiving the dose of naloxone, commonly referred to as Narcan, the 27-year-old man became responsive and was then transported to an area hospital.
Police are investigating each incident.
