North Haven Police Revive Woman with Dose of Naloxone
A frantic man ran into the North Haven Police Department asking for help for his unresponsive girlfriend.

North Haven emergency personnel revived an unresponsive 28-year-old East Haven woman with a dose of Naloxone on Tuesday night.
A frantic man entered the lobby of the North Haven Police Department asking for help at about 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 10, according to police.
The man told police that his girlfriend was in his car and wasn’t breathing.

The officers removed the woman from the car and began CPR. While performing CPR, officers recognized signs of recent drug use.
With the assistance of the North Haven Fire Department, the woman was administered Naloxone, according to police. Naloxone is a medication used to reverse the effects of opioids during an overdose.

The woman regained consciousness and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
