North Haven Police Seek Truck Battery Thieves

The suspects stole 22 batteries early Monday morning.

North Haven police are looking for two suspects that removed 22 batteries from a fleet of commercial trucks on McDermott Road early Monday morning.

Police said that North Haven businesses have been victim to overnight thefts of truck batteries over the past several months.

The suspects have entered the private properties on five different occasions and removed the batteries from the commercial vehicles, according to police.

In Monday morning’s incident, the suspects entered the parking lot at 100 McDermott Road and loaded the batteries into their vehicle prior to leaving.

Police said surveillance footage captured (pictured), shows what appears to be a late 1990’s Honda CRV, enter the parking lot.
