North Haven's John DeCusati Named to 15th Annual Dream Dozen
DeCusati earns first selection to American Legion baseball Zone II all-star team.

North Haven’s John DeCusati was a jack-of-all trades for the Post 76 American Legion baseball team this past season and was rewarded with a spot on the 15th Annual Dream Dozen, Elm City Newspapers’ Zone II all-star team.
DeCusati played every inning of every game this summer and played at nearly every position, except for first base and catcher, and batted .282 with 24 RBIs while compiling a 2-0 record on the mound.
“He was a leader for us and was looked up to by the young kids,” North Haven coach Charlie Flanagan told Dave Phillips of the Post-Chronicle/GameTimeCT. “He delivered a hit when we needed it and pitched a big game when we needed it.”
