Obituary: Anthony J. Lacobelli, 54, of North Haven

Anthony J. Lacobelli, 54, of North Haven, was suddenly stricken on Sunday, December 2, 2018 after attending a New England Patriots football game in Foxboro, MA. Anthony was born in New Haven on June 4, 1964 and was the beloved son of Linda Prentice Lacobelli and the late Anthony N. Lacobelli who passed away this past May 8th.

Anthony was a 1983 graduate of North Haven High School and played on their soccer team. He had previously worked for First General Services, and was currently working for Southern Connecticut Restoration of North Haven. Anthony was a St. Louis Cardinals and New England Patriots fan; he also kept the statistics for the Calcagni Girls Softball team of Wallingford.

Brother of Carol DiGiovanni and Diane Cella (Chip). Uncle of Nicholas, Anthony and Jack DiGiovanni. Nephew of MaryAnn Severino, Joyce and Gloria Bellonio.

Family and friends may call on Saturday morning (Dec. 8) from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Scott Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
