Obituary: Arthur E. Jackson, 81, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Arthur E. Jackson, 81, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. He was the beloved husband of the late of Sandra Johnson Jackson, who he missed dearly, for 50 years.

Arthur was born in New Haven on January 8, 1941 and was the son of the late Arthur and Irene Beattie Jackson.

He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army for three years, and had worked as a Service Manager at Robert’s Dodge for many years until his retirement.

Arthur had a love of cars, from backyard mechanic, to auto technician and being a service manager for 25 years. Some of his best times were taking his family fishing and camping.

Father of Christopher A. (Jennifer) Jackson and Scott C. Jackson. Grandfather of Jared, AJ and Lily. Brother of Harold W. Jackson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday morning, June 18, at 11 a.m. in Center Cemetery, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
