Obituary: Carole Anne Caggiano, 60, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Carole Anne Amellin Caggiano, 60, of North Haven, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at home. She was the beloved wife of 37 years to Leonard “Lenny” Caggiano Sr.

Carole was born in New Haven on August 22, 1962 and was the daughter of Edith Boragina Amellin and the late James A. Amellin. She was a member of the North Haven Sons & Daughters of Italy.

Mother of Christopher Caggiano, Vanessa Caggiano (Kenneth Bastian) and the late Leonard Caggiano, Jr. Grandmother of Christopher Caggiano, Jr., Amber Caggiano, Miles Luca Bastian, Ryan Bastian and Frank Northrop Jr. Sister of Deanne Spencer (Douglas), David Amellin, Karen Abbott and the late Andra Mary Amellin. Aunt of Melanie Abbott Deprey (Ellery), Savannah and Dakota Abbott. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Margaret Caggiano.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.
