Obituary: Dorothy M. Douglas, 86, of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT - (From North Haven Funeral Home) Dorothy M. Douglas, 86, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Regency House, Wallingford. She was born in New Haven on March 12, 1934 and was the daughter of the late John and Viola Hall Douglas.

Dorothy had worked for George M. Douglas Company as an assembler for many years. She spent much of her time tending to her special needs daughter who she loved unconditionally.

Mother of Merrill (Kathy) Douglas, Cindy (Mike) Conner, Cheryl (Vinny) Gogliettino, Paula Douglas and Gayle (Andy) Koutroumanis.

Also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy is predeceased by her brothers John, Richard and James Douglas, sisters Alice Dahm, Catherine Morcus, Mary Signore and her former husband Merrill H. Douglas.

The visiting hours will be on Thursday morning Jan. 21st from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue.

A service will be conducted in the funeral at 11:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
