Obituary: Gregory J. Zurlis, 33, of North Haven

Gregory James Zurlis, 33, of North Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Greg was born in Waterbury on March 31, 1984 and was the beloved son of Michael and Susan Maiocco Zurlis. He was a 2002 North Haven High School graduate where he was an outstanding athlete.

Greg had worked as a finish carpenter and later as an iron worker for the Local 424. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the Cleveland Browns and English Premier Soccer.

Brother of Michael Zurlis and his wife Cristina and Mark Zurlis. Grandson of Vincent Maiocco and the late Frances Maiocco, John and Vera Zurlis. Uncle of Michael Zurlis. Also survived by “many – many” loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
