Obituary: Henry ‘Bub’ Rodriguez Jr., 33, Of North Haven

He will forever be remembered for the kindness he showed to humans and animals, alike.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Henry “Bub” Rodriguez Jr., 33, of North Haven, passed away December 9, 2023. Born in New Haven on October 26th, 1990, he was the beloved son of Bernadette Montano and the late Henry Rodriguez Sr.

Henry earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University and an Ultrasound Certification from the American Institute in West Hartford.

Nephew of Donald Montano (Terri), Vincent Montano (Tina), Regina Cone (Brian) and Karen Montano. Great nephew of Peter “Butch” Posack. Cousin of Bryan, Justin and Joshua Montano. Also survived by his dog Sophie and cats Mac and Brady.

Predeceased by his grandparents Donald and Madeline Montano and his aunt Jeanine, “JJ”, Montano. Henry enjoyed cooking, exercising and playing video games.

He will forever be remembered for the kindness he showed to humans and animals, alike; for his bright and beautiful smile and for the love and support he, always, gave to his mom.

The visiting hours will be Thursday, Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning, Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal service immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.

Bernadette wishes to thank her siblings, family and friends for their love, support and non-judgmental attitudes always provided. “You will, forever, will be in my heart.”
