Obituary: John ‘Jack’ Dube, 76, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): In New Haven May 27, 2023, John "Jack" Dube, 76, Ret. NHFD of North Haven.

He is survived by the love of his life Ann Campion of North Haven, sons John Dube, Jr. of New Haven, Gary Naylor (Anna) of East Haven, a brother Timothy Dube (Elizabeth) of Hamden. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Casey Naylor, Kelsey Naylor, John Dube, III and Alexa Dube. He was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Dube and a sister Eileen Ryan. Jack was born in New Haven August 7, 1946 son of the late Harold and Helen Mangan Dube.

After retirement from the NHFD, Mr. Dube owned and operated his own painting business for many years. Jack had a great personality and was liked by all. He was an avid golfer and loved to watch movies. Jack proudly served his Country during the Vietnam War with the U.S. Air Force.

Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Thursday (June 1) at 9:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. The family will receive friends Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
