Obituary: Joseph A. Bodie, 69, Of North Haven
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Joseph worked in food service management for many years until his retirement.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Joseph A. Bodie, 69, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Karen Toronto Bodie.
Joseph was born in New Haven on August 7, 1953 and was the son of the late Raymond P. and Lucy K. Voigt Bodie.
He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force. Joseph worked in food service management for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed frequent trips to the casino, dancing, loved taking cruises, and home demolition.

Father of William C. Wilson (Cindy), Louis J. Wilson (Lori) and Katherine Wilson (Robert). Grandfather of Katelyn Wilson, Stephanie Petro (Joshua), Emily Cottrell (Kevin) and Jenna Petro. Great-Grandfather of Leia and Eliana Rivera. Brother of Jo-Ann Quinn (Thomas), Katherine Herpok (John), Kevin Bodie (Valerie) and the late Raymond, Marie, William and John Bodie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
