Obituary: Joseph D. Fruin, 51, of North Haven
Joseph was the owner and operator of J.F. Engine Works; assisted with his son's Boy Scout Troop and was a real outdoorsman.

Joseph D. Fruin, 51, of North Haven passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Linda Nazario Fruin for 16 years.
Joseph was born in Meriden on November 3, 1964; son of Barbara Duane Fruin and the late William F. “Bill” Fruin. Joseph was the owner and operator of J.F. Engine Works; assisted with his son’s Boy Scout Troop #805; was a member of the Elm City Gun Club and was a real outdoorsman enjoying gardening and camping especially in Maine.
Father of Joseph and Hannah Fruin. Brother of Bella (Louis) Rancourt, MaryJane Dubert and the late Billy Fruin. Great-Nephew of Hilda Bouffard.

Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. to attend a Mass of Christian burial and are also invited to attend the committal services immediately following in All Saints Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 127 Washington Avenue, 3rd Flr, North Haven, CT 06473 or a charity of one’s choice.
