Obituary: Kathleen T. Kobierowski, 68, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Kathleen T. Kobierowski, longtime resident of North Haven, passed peacefully on December 7. Wife of the late Teddy Kobierowski, Kathy was born in New Haven on February 10th, 1955. Daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine Conroy.

Kathy adored spending time with extensive family and hosting her annual Christmas Eve dinner party where all were welcome.

In Kathy’s spare time she enjoyed gardening, travel during her retirement, avidly cheering on the Red Sox, and taking great pride in home décor.

Kathy is survived by children Lisa (Rich Pycela) and TJ. Grandsons Josh (Shannon) Nettleton and Jacob “Kobie,” Sister Helen (Frank) Dart, brother Joey Conroy, Sister-in-law Sophie Gradzik, her lovely dog Jayla, and many nieces and nephews. Kathy was predeceased by sisters Janice Quist, Judy Parise, Ronnie Consiglio, and brother Michael Conroy.

The family would like to thank the staff at Yale New Haven Hospital and the visiting care providers from Masonicare while Kathy courageously battled her illness.

The visiting hours will be Sunday, Dec. 10 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, New Haven on Monday morning, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
