Obituary: Kenneth J. Norup, 60, of North Haven

Kenneth J. Norup, 60, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of 38 years to Robin Pinto Norup.

Kenneth was born in New Haven on October 13, 1956; son of the late Howard P. and Annette Infante Norup; had worked for the former Howie’s Electric of North Haven, CHR, AAA, the North Haven School System Custodial Department and later for BMW of North Haven. Kenny was a car and airplane enthusiast. Father of Daniel (Alison) Norup and Kendra (Anthony) Giacco. Brother of Gail Norup and Howard (Celeste) Norup.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Saturday morning (June 10) at 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Barnabas Church at 11:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The visiting hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 pm.
