Obituary: Kenneth P. Muro, 62, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Kenneth P. Muro, 62, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Sharon Guglielmo Muro.

Ken was born in New Haven on February 27, 1961, and was the son of the late Anthony Muro, Jr. and Jeanette Lubrano Muro.

A 1980 graduate of North Haven High School, he later served as a Specialist in the Connecticut National Guard from 1982 to 1988.

Ken worked for the North Haven Public Works Department for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, tinkering with motors and lately gardening around his house.

Ken was an animal lover, especially his cats.

Brother of Eugene Muro and his twin Richard Muro (Susan). Brother-in-law of Richard Guglielmo (Barbara), Diane Gugielmo and the late Gary Guglielmo. Uncle of Michael Muro, Richie Guglielmo (Ariana), Michael, Gary and Thomas Guglielmo.

The visiting hours will be Sunday, July 9 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, July 10 at 10 a.m. in St. Paul VI Parish/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Hamden. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
