Obituary: Leonard J. Liscio Jr., 71, Of North Haven

Leonard, an avid bowler who played in both a men's and couples leagues, worked in pack down at Home Depot for 18 years.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Leonard J. Liscio Jr., 71, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Betsy Robinson Liscio.

Leonard was born in Bridgeport on January 22, 1951 and was the son Eva Tutty Liscio and the late Leonard J. Liscio Sr.

He had worked in pack down at Home Depot for 18 years. He was a gun enthusiast and a member of the Elm City Gun Club in East Haven competing in many competitions with both rifles and handguns. Leonard enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling, and camping. He was an avid bowler and played in both a men’s and couples leagues.

Father of Leonard J. Liscio III, Michael (Kimberly) Liscio, Steven (Tammy) Liscio and Lisa Liscio. Brother of Paula (James) Troiano, Donna (Ronald) Karramann and the late Dennis Liscio. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be conducted in The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue on Saturday, September 10 at 1 p.m. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.
