Obituary: Mariann Napoli, 86, Of North Haven
Mariann, a Sacred Heart Academy graduate, was an avid golfer and won the U.S. Masters Amateur Golf Tournament.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Mariann SantaBarbara Napoli, 86, of North Haven, formerly of Stratford for many years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Connecticut Hospice, Branford.
Born in New Haven on February 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette Piscitelle SantaBarbara.
Mariann was a graduate of the former St. Michael’s Elementary School, New Haven and Sacred Heart Academy, Hamden.

An avid golfer, Mariann was a member of the Mill River Country Club, Stratford for many years where she was the Club Champion and enjoyed singing in the many plays they produced; member of the Bear Lakes Country Club, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Mariann had won the U.S. Masters Amateur Golf Tournament.

Mother of Laura Coppola (Michael), Mark A. Tuscano (Gigi) and the late Debra Re. Grandmother of Rachel Re. Great-Grandmother of Valentina Re. Sister of Robert SantaBarbara (Maryann), Pasquale SantaBarbara (Jeanine) and the late Patricia Barucci. Sister-in-law of Frank Barucci. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
