Obituary: Mary Landino, 92, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Mary Valentino Landino, 92, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Whitney Center, Hamden with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of 69 years to Harry P. Landino.

Mary was born in New Haven on April 3, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Maria Urbano Valentino. She had worked as a registered nurse for many years.

Mary was a devoted parishioner of St. Therese Church, North Haven, and an avid fan of UConn women’s basketball. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining and her greatest joy was being surrounded by her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved unconditionally.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary was the loving and caring mother of Ann Marie (Bill) Wagner, Frank (Betty), Harry (Patricia), and David (Trace) Landino. Loving grandmother of Fallon, Frank, Katie, Christopher, Jason, Daniel, Samantha, and Marra. Also survived by 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson.
