Obituary: Patricia Lynne Kompare, 58, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Patricia Lynne Sovinski Kompare, 58, of North Haven, passed away peacefully after many years of illness on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

She was the beloved wife of John Kompare. Loving mother of Jenna and Matthew Kompare. Beloved sister of Susan Sovinski and the late Carol Sovinski.

Patty was born in Ansonia on November 30, 1965, and was the daughter of the late Edward and Jeanne Bartolotta Sovinski. She received her MBA from Quinnipiac college and had worked as a CPA at Blum-Shapiro.

The visiting hours will be on Friday morning, January 5 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue at 12 noon. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
