Obituary: Patrick J. Burke, 85; Formerly Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Patrick J. Burke, 85, of Vernon, previously of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Katherine (Bruce) Burke.

Born in New Haven on September 13, 1937, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian Burke.

Patrick retired after many years of service in logistics for Better Brands DBA Vistar.

Father of Patrick, Louis, Peter and Sherri Burke. Stepfather of Lisa, Michael and Kenneth Ildefonso. Also survived by his loving companion Susan Barker as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The visiting hours will be Wednesday, September 20 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
