Obituary: Raymond (Ray) Scott Wilber, 65, Of North Haven

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Raymond (Ray) Scott Wilber, 65, of North Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Ray was born in Meriden on March 28, 1958, and was the son of Ethel Wilber and the late Edward Wilber of North Haven.

Ray was a graduate of North Branford Senior High School and had worked at Mark Levinson Audio Systems in Hamden. Ray enjoyed listening to music and was an avid Doors fan. He liked antiques and bargain hunting at flea markets. Ray enjoyed being outside.

One could not take a bad picture of Ray and so his parents called him ‘Mr. Hollywood.’

Ray was predeceased by his brother, Gregg. He is survived by two brothers, Edward A. Wilber of North Haven, and his brother Richard (Margery) Wilber of Middlefield, CT as well as his niece, Sarah (Brendan) of Ellington, CT, and his nephew Charles (Gina) of Berlin, CT.

There will be a private graveside service at Center Cemetery in North Haven. The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue have been entrusted with the arrangements.
