Obituary: Robert L. ‘Bob’ Giannotti, 81, Of North Haven
A U.S. Army veteran, her worked as a truck driver for Stop & Shop and was a member of Teamster Union 443 for many years.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Robert L. “Bob” Giannotti, 81, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Elaine Asprelli Giannotti.
Bob was born in New Haven on May 29, 1941 and was the son of the late Louis and Helen Jones Giannotti. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Army. Bob worked as a truck driver for Stop & Shop and was a member of Teamster Union 443 for many years.
Bob enjoyed watching TV, especially FOX News and any black and white movies and shows. He was always up for a good political debate and could talk for hours about anything to do with politics.

Bob will be remembered by all who knew him as a true jokester, he loved to razz friends and family any chance he could and continued to do so right up until his last days. His greatest joy was his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.
Beloved father of Christina (Mark) Courville and the late Bobby and Lisa Giannotti. Grandfather of Ashley Giannotti, Lisa and Jenna Courville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Eddie and Kenny Giannotti.
