Robert T. “Bob” Lowe Jr., 73, of North Branford, beloved husband of Marie Follo, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026 surrounded by his family at Connecticut Hospice. Bob was born in New Haven on April 30, 1953 to the late Robert T. and Carmela (Mattei) Lowe Sr.
Bob leaves behind his children Rob (Jennifer Mace) Lowe III of Morrisville, VT; Pamela (Jim) Badolato of Malvern, PA; Lauren Lowe of Reno, NV; Kristina (Craig) Bruce of East Haven. He was predeceased by his son Christopher Lowe. He was the proud Pepa of Reuben, Hudson, Jimmy, Mia, Matthew, Abby, and Dante. He also leaves behind his siblings, Darra (Mike Argo) Page of Hamden and Frank (Heidi Parks) Lowe of Amsterdam, NY.
During his youth, he graduated from Hamden High School and attended business school at Quinnipiac College. Prior to his retirement, Bob was employed as a salesman at Arlo Office Products. He loved spending quality time with family at home and on trips. He was particularly fond of trips to the beach and to Saratoga. He will be remembered for his courage, quiet determination, gentle demeanor and humility, as well as his thoughtfulness for others. He was loved by many family members and friends, we have lost a wonderful person here on earth.

Family and friends may call SATURDAY morning, June 6, 2026, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven. The procession will leave at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice at hospice.com or to the Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy Awareness Ride at give.myotonic.org/Pat125.
